Terms of Service
Last updated: 31 October 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using swiftimageresizer.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. The service
Swift Image Resizer provides tools for resizing, cropping, compressing, and converting images. All image processing happens locally in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. We do not upload, store, or transmit your images to any server.
The Service is provided "as is" and may be updated, changed, or discontinued at any time without notice.
3. Accounts
You may use the free tier without an account. To purchase and use Pro features, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your password secure.
- All activity that occurs under your account.
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably suspect are being used fraudulently or abusively.
4. Pro subscriptions and payments
Pro plans are available as fixed-period purchases: 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year. There is no auto-renewal — your access ends automatically when the purchased period expires, and you may purchase another period at any time.
All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), which acts as the Merchant of Record for these transactions. This means Paddle handles billing, payment processing, and any applicable sales tax. By making a purchase, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms.
Prices are listed in US dollars and may change at any time. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. Refund terms are described in our Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the Service's code or assets without permission.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use automated tools to abuse or overload the Service.
- Circumvent the Pro tier limits or attempt to bypass payment.
6. Your content
You retain all rights to the images you process with the Service. Because all processing happens locally in your browser, we never receive, store, or have any access to your images. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to process any image you use with the Service.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, code, text, and branding, is owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written permission.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output files will meet any specific requirements.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the Service. In no event will our total liability exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. If we terminate your account for reasons other than a violation, we will refund any unused portion of a paid period on a pro-rata basis.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we are established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
